Who We Are

The Beginning

“Your child has cancer”…4 simple words that can flip your world upside down in a heartbeat.”

It’s every parent’s worst nightmare and yet today, and tomorrow, and every day after that, 46 children’s parents will hear those devastating words and that nightmare will become their reality.

It happened to my family. Cancer crept up unannounced and certainly unwelcome. In 2007, my daughter, Addison Faith, was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She endured a great deal, but remained her sweet, loving self every step of the way. She taught us all how to live big, fight hard, and love lots. Sadly, Addi’s little body could only take so much and she died just a few weeks shy of her second birthday.
