Easing Cancer Burdens

Sibling Scholarships

Childhood Cancer is not rare. Each year, over 17,000 U.S. children are diagnosed with some form of cancer. This means each day of the year, more than 45 families hear the life-changing words, “Your child has cancer.” In January 2014, we became one of these families when our daughter, Paige, was diagnosed with an aggressive form of leukemia. Our sweet girl battled the cancer beast three times in less than three years before stepping into Heaven in October 2016.

As we discovered throughout our journey, no family fights alone. We were blessed by the support we received during Paige’s treatment and work to honor her memory by helping others on this road.

-the Lejeune Family

The Paige Lejeune Memorial Scholarship is funded by an Addi’s Allies partnership. Their annual bowling
event supports both this scholarship and research. We acknowledge the often-overlooked impact of
pediatric cancer on siblings and offer this scholarship to help bereaved siblings in their healing journey. This scholarship is currently available to the bereaved siblings.

* This scholarship is open to those whose sibling passed away from pediatric cancer.
